Shipping Dog Crates from Us
Most crates leave the point of origin within 1-3 business days from the time you place your order. Some are shipped form our warehouses. Others are shipped directly from the manufacturer to save you money on shipping charges.
We charge actual shipping charges quoted by UPS - no more no less. In other words, our shipping is not inflated to create profit for us.
Only soft-sided dog crates can be shipped to APO or postal addresses. All others are too large for the postal system.
Products from General Cage Corp are slower to ship than the others and sometimes take 5-6 business days to leave the factory.
Hunter's Pride and Aluma Sport Dog Boxes also take longer to ship, as they are often made to order. Delays can be from 5 days 3 weeks.
Both are shipped by Common Carrier Motor Freight rather than UPS or Fed Ex regular shipping.
Aluma Sport Dog Boxes cost $70 to ship.
All motor freight shipments require DAYTIME contact information so that the carrier can schedule delivery of your dog box.
Hunter's Pride Dog Boxes ship according to your zip code. Because of our shipping volume, we receive very deep discounts on our motor freight charges (even deeper than the manufacturers of these products). We pass those discounts directly on to you.
In the drop-down box on the Hunter's Pride pages you will see the shipping charges for your area within the lower 48 states. Your shipping will be within 10% of those charges (up or down) regardless of what the order cart shows you.
Any deviation from that formula that results in higher charges to you will initiate a call or email to you immediately to let you know BEFORE shipping is accomplished so that we can receive your permission to ship. This is a rare occurrance and only happens OCCASIONALLY in California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
It costs about $65 less to ship to a bonafide business address with dock-high unloading.
If there is no Company Name in the "Ship to" area of your order, we will assume that you are shipping to a residence. If there is a Company Name, we will assume that the address accepting delivery has proper facilities. If our delivery carrier indicates after delivery that the address was not a bonafide dock-high address, you will be charged the residential delivery fee of $65 after the fact.

Colossal MW1154 crates and MWSL54DD dog crates: We cannot ship over-large Crates to international, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories. Those are crates that have * * * * or ~ in their description..
Shipping on the MWSL54DD is considerably more expensive than the MW1154 cages and runs in the $140 range to most locations.
Petmate plastic airline kennels are too large to ship to international, APO or postal addresses.
